Das NYS-SPP-L1 ist ein preiswertes, modulares 1/4" Patch Panel im robusten Metallgehäuse zur Montage in 19" Racks (1 Rackhöheneinheit hoch). Für jeden der 48 symmetrischen Kanäle (24 Frontpaare und 24 entsprechende Paare auf der Rückseite) kann die Masseverbindung separat oder in Gruppen festgelegt werden.
Für einen sicheren Halt werden die Leiterplatten zwischen das Front- und das Rearpanel geklemmt, was eine einfache Rekonfiguration, bei der keine kleinen Einzelteile (z.B. Muttern) verloren werden können, gewährleistet. Die graue Klinkenbuchse ermöglicht eine einfach erkenntliche Normalling Identifikation.
