Um benutzt zu werden, muss das Kabel an einen passenden innen-positiven Endstecker eines 9V-Netzteils mit externem und innerem Durchmesser von 5,5mm und 2,1mm angeschlossen werden.

Es teilt sich in fünf 70cm lange Anschlüsse, jeweils abgerundet mit einem passenden Hohlstecker. Das Kabel ist mit allen Roland Boutique-Modulen aus der Serie kompatibel, inklusive JX-03, VP-03, TB-03, JP-08, JU-06, TR-09 und A-01.
